ILYA SAVENOK

is an Independent editorial, portrait and documentary photographer.

He earned his BA in Film and International Studies from The Ohio State University, honing his craft in the art galleries of Columbus and later the runways of New York City. He has photographed numerous public figures, including Madonna, the Dalai Lama and Beyoncé, as well as major international fashion, music and arts festivals, and red carpet events. His portrait and documentary features focus on channeling light to tell stories through still image.

His work has been published in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair among other local and international publications. He is also a contributing photographer at Getty Images.

Ilya hails from Moscow, Russia and currently resides in the New York area. You can find him practicing his handstand at Daya Yoga Studio. #Namaste.
